Pomegranate

properties

Garnet is one of the most prized gemstones in jewelry. Its name comes from the word "grain" and evokes the large fruits of the pomegranate, due to their rounded shapes and reddish color. Under the name of garnet, different types of minerals with the same crystalline structure are grouped together. It is a stone that has a hardness between 6.5-7.5 on the Mohs scale. This gem belongs to the group of silicates and its chemical composition varies, giving this stone a great diversity of tones. It is considered a very energizing and regenerating gem, related to love and devotion.
