> Description

In this piece from the Blossom Bunch collection by Roosik&Co., Jordi Rosich has created a bunch of brown diamonds placed on a ring worked in rose gold with rounded edges. The focal point of this ring is the elegance of the brown diamonds, whose different tones and sizes have been chosen to create a wonderful effect, while the two diamonds add a touch of light that lifts the whole design, creating beautiful contrasts of light and dark.

About metals and gems

Creativity and Savoir Faire

The designer jewelery from Roosik & Co is inspired by personal experiences that express the sensitivity and delicacy with which they were created. Jordi Rosich, gemologist, incruster and certified engraver, specialist in diamonds, signs the pieces of Roosik&Co, who designs and works by hand in his shop in Girona. The creations from Roosik&Co combine precious metals and gemstones in an evocative and nostalgic collection. They are elegant and beautiful jewelry while suggestive, jewelry to awaken the emotion of those who wear them.

Brown Diamonds

Although brown diamonds are the most common variety in nature, they are not very well-known: in fact, until relatively recently they were used mostly for industrial purposes and very little in jewellery. However, some of the largest singular diamonds in the world are brown diamonds, such as the Star of the South, the Golden Jubilee Diamond (believed to be the largest cut diamond in the world at present), the Incomparable Diamond and the Lesotho III, once owned by Jackie Kennedy Onassis. Due to the extraordinary nature of this precious stone, Jordi Rosich uses diamonds particularly in the very personal pieces of jewellery from the Eternal collection.

Rose Gold

This metal gets its characteristic pink tone from being an alloy between gold and a mixture of copper and silver. Rose gold can be redder when it has a larger proportion of copper and whiter or paler in tone by increasing the proportion of silver. Rose gold is sometimes combined with yellow gold and white gold but it's also worked on its own as it conveys a gentler character than yellow gold to the pieces, giving them a more classic but modern style. Jordi Rosich makes some engagement rings in rose gold, using a singular design that stands out from more traditional pieces.
