Solidarity bracelet, the bright chromosome of the Astrid-21 Foundation

Roosik & Co and Fundació Astrid-21 create the Trisomia solidarity bracelet together. With the benefits collected, the living and working conditions of people with Down Syndrome and other functional diversities will be improved.

If you live near us, you probably know the Down Syndrome Foundation of Girona and Regions ASTRID-21. The non-profit organization works to improve the quality of life and work opportunities of people with functional diversity.

We have known the Foundation and the people who work there for a long time, which is why when the idea came up to design a solidarity piece of jewelry together to raise funds - and at the same time commemorate the 35th anniversary of the Foundation - we were very excited.

Down syndrome is a genetic alteration caused by the presence of an extra copy of chromosome 21. Precisely , this extra chromosome is what inspired Jordi Rosich to design the solidarity bracelet and, even become the central motif.

Based on this idea, he developed three different proposals:

One, in silver and blue cord , worth €35

The second, in 18k yellow gold , blue cord and plate also in gold, for €195.

And the third, in 18k yellow gold, with a gold chain and a 0.08ct diamond and a 0.05ct blue sapphire , both natural, ethical and certified, for €795
