Lapis Lazuli: the stone of the starry sky and ancient wisdom

There are stones that seem to contain a fragment of the universe. Lapis lazuli is one of them. Its intense, deep blue, with small golden particles, is reminiscent of a night sky full of stars. It is a stone that invites you to look inward, but also upward. To listen to your inner voice and connect with what guides you.

Introducing the new pendant from the HeptaBloom collection with lapis lazuli. A gem to shine with your own light. Let's be there!

Lapis lazuli: intuition, truth and inspiration

Lapis lazuli has been revered for millennia. In ancient Egypt, it was more precious than gold. It was used in amulets, jewelry, and even in the famous Eye of Horus. Its ultramarine hue was associated with divinity, wisdom, and knowledge.

This gemstone has always been a symbol of mental clarity, spiritual connection, and freedom of expression. It is said to help one see clearly, make decisions with serenity, and live authentically.

A gem that speaks of inner universes

Lapis lazuli is a rock made up mainly of lazurite, but it also contains pyrite (which shines like gold) and calcite (which is whiter). This combination gives it a unique and original beauty, as if it were a small solidified galaxy.

Did you know that lazurite is a complex silicate formed by aluminum, sodium and sulfur? Sulfur plays an interesting role in our body: it is linked to purification, detoxification and cell and skin regeneration. And in nature, sulfur is an element that is part of life cycles (volcanoes, hot springs) and is a symbol of deep renewal and underground energy.

It is no wonder, then, that lapis lazuli is a stone that inspires and brings out emotions. It is said to connect with creativity, art and words. It is ideal for people who seek to express themselves with truth, intuition and depth.

Legends and beliefs: the stone of the pharaohs and artists

Lapis lazuli has accompanied kings, philosophers and creators. In Mesopotamia, it was considered the stone of the gods. In the Middle Ages, painters ground it to obtain a pure blue pigment: ultramarine, used to paint virgins' cloaks and infinite skies in Renaissance masterpieces.

It was – and continues to be – a gem for sensitive and brave souls, who are not afraid to seek answers beyond what is visible.

The other gems of the Collection

The HeptaBloom collection invites you to explore the different facets of your essence. Each stone is a mirror: the stability of jasper, the balance of chalcedony, the serene strength of onyx, the intuition of pink opal, the peace of nephrite… and the deep light of lapis lazuli, of course.

Jordi Rosich, gemologist and designer at Roosik&Co, has personally selected these gems, giving them a heptagonal shape to create unique jewels that will accompany you day by day as small treasures with a soul.

Now, you choose.

Listen to yourself. And if lapis lazuli has chosen you… maybe it's because you're about to discover a new truth within yourself.
