Jasper: the stone that embraces the earth and transforms it into strength

Imagine a stone that seems to be born directly from the heart of the earth. A gem that, instead of showing off, roots you. That doesn't want to draw attention to itself, but supports you when you need it. This stone exists. It is jasper, and its warm tones – ochre, reddish, earthy – speak to you of ancient landscapes, dormant volcanoes, paths traveled and the warmth of an inner fire.

We present the new pendant from the HeptaBloom collection with jasper. A stone to reconnect with yourself. Let's be there!

Jasper: strength, resistance and protection

Jasper is one of the oldest gemstones known to mankind. Its name comes from the Greek iaspis , meaning "spotted stone" or "flowered", and indeed, each piece of jasper is unique: its irregular patterns and deep colors make it a small fragment of a petrified landscape.

Jasper has a high concentration of iron. As you know, iron gives strength to the body and protects against weakness, perhaps that is why, since ancient times, jasper has been attributed protective powers. It was used by soldiers and travelers as a talisman in the face of danger, and it was believed that it gave courage, strength and emotional stability to the wearer.

A gem that connects with the earth

Jasper is formed from sediments and volcanic materials that, over thousands of years, slowly compact and crystallize. It is a stone that requires patience, like the earth that prepares its roots before blooming. That is why jasper is said to help us be present, to walk firmly and to remain true to who we are.

It is the stone of stability. Of returning home. Of remembering that we are not alone or uprooted, but deeply connected to nature and to our own essence.

Legends and beliefs: the stone of the goddesses

In several ancient cultures, jasper was associated with powerful female figures. In Ancient Egypt, it was linked to the goddess Isis and was worn as an amulet in rituals of rebirth and protection. Native American shamans considered it a sacred stone for connecting with the spirits of the earth and channeling healing energies.

In the Middle Ages, jasper was believed to be able to stop storms and ward off nightmares. It was a stone of peace and balance, but also of courage, action and determination.
