ROSE GOLD RING WITH TOURMALINES AND DIAMONDS

The Blossom Bouquet ring from Roosik&Co.’s Blossom collection is wonderfully delicate. In this case, Jordi Rosich, the brand’s jeweller, setter, gemmologist and designer, has placed three tourmalines of different tones in the shape of a small bouquet, subtly illuminated by the presence of three alternating diamonds. The result is a piece of jewellery reminiscent of the beauty and freshness of recently-cut flowers. Perfect to wear on its own or together with matching earrings or necklace, the Bouquet collection offers a harmonious combination of subtle, refreshing colours that will please the more feminine women of today.

About metals and gems

Creativity and Savoir Faire

The designer jewelery from Roosik & Co is inspired by personal experiences that express the sensitivity and delicacy with which they were created. Jordi Rosich, gemologist, incruster and certified engraver, specialist in diamonds, signs the pieces of Roosik&Co, who designs and works by hand in his shop in Girona. The creations from Roosik&Co combine precious metals and gemstones in an evocative and nostalgic collection. They are elegant and beautiful jewelry while suggestive, jewelry to awaken the emotion of those who wear them.

Diamonds

The diamond is one of the most prized minerals in the world. Its name comes from the Greek δάμας (adámas) which means precisely "inalterable", one of the qualities that makes it so valuable as it's the hardest natural material known to man. It's very probably the precious stone with the greatest symbolic meaning: a piece of jewellery with diamonds becomes iconic and unique for the receiver. Jordi Rosich personally selects the diamonds for the solitaires and engagement rings in the Eternal collection by Roosik&Co., using diamonds of at least 0.25 carat that come from non-conflictive zones and are certified by the GIA (Gemological Institute of America).

Rose Gold

This metal gets its characteristic pink tone from being an alloy between gold and a mixture of copper and silver. Rose gold can be redder when it has a larger proportion of copper and whiter or paler in tone by increasing the proportion of silver. Rose gold is sometimes combined with yellow gold and white gold but it's also worked on its own as it conveys a gentler character than yellow gold to the pieces, giving them a more classic but modern style. Jordi Rosich makes some engagement rings in rose gold, using a singular design that stands out from more traditional pieces.

Tourmaline

Tourmaline can be found in almost all the colours of nature, from almost totally transparent to black, but the most appreciated colour for this gemstone is green, especially when it resembles the colour of emeralds. One of the distinctive features of tourmaline is that the same stone can take on different tones depending on the light, giving it a captivating and exciting variability. As it's so versatile, Jordi Rosich works with tourmaline to create a wide range of pieces, from earrings to necklaces and bracelets, especially in the Blossom collection.
