> Description

Roosik & Co. always uses natural gemstones for all the pieces of jewellery with precious stones. This is the case of the Script collection, created by Jordi Rosich taking his inspiration from the illuminated script found in medieval choirbooks. The liveliness of the colours used by monks to adorn the first letter of a text is evoked in the Script collection via a coloured gemstone that accompanies the initial made from white, yellow or rose gold. A highly personal gift which the receiver will be able to truly identify with. Available in all letters of the alphabet.

About metals and gems

Creativity and Savoir Faire

The designer jewelery from Roosik & Co is inspired by personal experiences that express the sensitivity and delicacy with which they were created. Jordi Rosich, gemologist, incruster and certified engraver, specialist in diamonds, signs the pieces of Roosik&Co, who designs and works by hand in his shop in Girona. The creations from Roosik&Co combine precious metals and gemstones in an evocative and nostalgic collection. They are elegant and beautiful jewelry while suggestive, jewelry to awaken the emotion of those who wear them.

From the French citron, which means lemon, citrine is a coloured gemstone from the quartz family and can take on a wide range of tones, from very pale yellow to colours such as orangey coffee and even some golden hues; as well as a variety of cuts. At Roosik&Co. it's used particularly in the Blossom collection where its yellowish tones add a touch of freshness and vivacity to the jewellery. In ancient times it was associated with the planet Mercury and, in the Middle Ages, citrine was believed to act as a talisman against skin problems: today it's a gemstone linked with success and prosperity.

Yellow Gold

Gold is very probably the most widely used metal in the history of jewellery making, although it's also used in electronics and industry as it's a metal that doesn't rust. Traditionally it's been used to mint coins and symbolically represents value and greatness. Present in ancient cultures, it's a soft metal that's easy to work because, in fact, it's the most adaptable and pliable metal known to man. Thanks to this metal's undeniable beauty and prestige, there are pieces made from yellow gold in all Roosik&Co. collections.
