ETERNAL CROWN RING IN WHITE GOLD AND DIAMONDS

A solitaire from the Eternal collection inspired by classical jewellery. Jordi Rosich has designed a ring with a vintage air thanks to the piece’s crown of diamonds. In the centre, a 0.20 carat diamond, E colour, VVS1 clarity and triple excellence (cut, symmetry and polish), with 10 0.02 carat diamonds surrounding it; making a total of 0.40 carats. Rosich nevertheless manages to give this ring a contemporary feel by working in white gold, creating a flowing, attractive line that thins as it reaches the diamonds to make them stand out. A very special piece of jewellery capable of encapsulating the greatness of the most solid of feelings.

About metals and gems

Creativity and Savoir Faire

The designer jewelery from Roosik & Co is inspired by personal experiences that express the sensitivity and delicacy with which they were created. Jordi Rosich, gemologist, incruster and certified engraver, specialist in diamonds, signs the pieces of Roosik&Co, who designs and works by hand in his shop in Girona. The creations from Roosik&Co combine precious metals and gemstones in an evocative and nostalgic collection. They are elegant and beautiful jewelry while suggestive, jewelry to awaken the emotion of those who wear them.

Diamonds

The diamond is one of the most prized minerals in the world. Its name comes from the Greek δάμας (adámas) which means precisely "inalterable", one of the qualities that makes it so valuable as it's the hardest natural material known to man. It's very probably the precious stone with the greatest symbolic meaning: a piece of jewellery with diamonds becomes iconic and unique for the receiver. Jordi Rosich personally selects the diamonds for the solitaires and engagement rings in the Eternal collection by Roosik&Co., using diamonds of at least 0.25 carat that come from non-conflictive zones and are certified by the GIA (Gemological Institute of America).

Platinum

Platinum is rare in nature, most readily found in South Africa, Russia and Canada, and that's why it's a highly prized metal. Just like gold, platinum is easy to work with as it's highly adaptable and pliable, and it was originally used for wristwatches. Being so expensive, at Roosik&Co. platinum tends to be used for pieces with great symbolic significance, such as engagement rings and solitaire settings. In fact the white, silvery colour of platinum makes it the perfect companion for diamonds.

White Gold

White gold gets its colour from being an alloy of yellow gold and at least one white metal, such as silver, combined in a range of percentages; Roosik&Co. normally uses palladium to achieve a whiter result. White gold is widely used in jewellery as it's as easy to work with as yellow gold and combines very elegantly with all kinds of stones, especially with diamonds, the reason why Roosik&Co. uses it extensively for engagement and solitaire rings but also for necklaces and earrings, both in the Eternal and the Blossom collections.
