BLOSSOM ROSE GOLD RING WITH IMPERIAL TOPAZ AND PRECIOUS STONES

One of the most personal rings created by Jordi Rosich for Roosik&Co.’s Blossom collection. It’s presided over by a magnificent 5.22 carat imperial topaz, highly prized for its rarity and exclusivity. In the centre, a string of green tsavorite stones contrasts intensely with the colour of the imperial topaz, making it stand out even further. Rosich has resolved the transition between the stones and the setting using another string of gemstones, in this case pink sapphires. A ring for a unique woman with a great personality who will appreciate the originality of this highly individual piece of jewellery.

About metals and gems

Creativity and Savoir Faire

The designer jewelery from Roosik & Co is inspired by personal experiences that express the sensitivity and delicacy with which they were created. Jordi Rosich, gemologist, incruster and certified engraver, specialist in diamonds, signs the pieces of Roosik&Co, who designs and works by hand in his shop in Girona. The creations from Roosik&Co combine precious metals and gemstones in an evocative and nostalgic collection. They are elegant and beautiful jewelry while suggestive, jewelry to awaken the emotion of those who wear them.

Imperial Topaz

Considered to be one of the great precious stones, topaz owes its name to the eponymous island in the Red Sea where, however, there are deposits of olivine and not topaz. Although it can come in many different colours such as green, blue, yellow, red and pink, one of the most widely recognised tones in jewellery is brownish or golden, therefore called "Imperial Topaz", relatively rare and highly sought after. It's one of the great gemstones that Jordi Rosich works with, reserved for jewellery whose beauty stirs the emotions, either in a solitaire or in combination with other coloured gems to form incredibly harmonious pieces.

Rose Gold

This metal gets its characteristic pink tone from being an alloy between gold and a mixture of copper and silver. Rose gold can be redder when it has a larger proportion of copper and whiter or paler in tone by increasing the proportion of silver. Rose gold is sometimes combined with yellow gold and white gold but it's also worked on its own as it conveys a gentler character than yellow gold to the pieces, giving them a more classic but modern style. Jordi Rosich makes some engagement rings in rose gold, using a singular design that stands out from more traditional pieces.

Sapphire

Deep blue is the colour most often associated with sapphire although this precious stone can also be found with reddish and even yellow tones. This is the hardest mineral after the diamond and, together with diamonds, rubies and emeralds, is one of the four most important precious stones in the world. The intensity of the velvety blue colour of each stone is what determines the value of a sapphire. Some have become legendary, such as the Star of India, a sapphire discovered in Sri Lanka 300 years ago, stolen and then recovered from the American Natural History Museum. Due to the charisma of this gemstone, Jordi Rosich uses it for jewellery with a lot of symbolic content, such as the pieces from the Eternal collection.
