BLOSSOM BUD ROSE GOLD RING WITH PERIDOT

One of the stars of the Blossom collection is the Blossom Bud ring, available in different types of gold and natural gemstones. In this case Jordi Rosich, jeweller, setter, gemmologist and designer at Roosik&Co., has combined rose gold with a peridot gemstone, creating an exciting floral effect. On its own or in an engaging combination with other finishes, the Blossom Bud ring has guaranteed value and will be popular with all kinds of women. It’s also perfect for combining with the Blossom Bud earrings from the same collection, which can be customised on request in the same kind of finish.

About metals and gems

Creativity and Savoir Faire

The designer jewelery from Roosik & Co is inspired by personal experiences that express the sensitivity and delicacy with which they were created. Jordi Rosich, gemologist, incruster and certified engraver, specialist in diamonds, signs the pieces of Roosik&Co, who designs and works by hand in his shop in Girona. The creations from Roosik&Co combine precious metals and gemstones in an evocative and nostalgic collection. They are elegant and beautiful jewelry while suggestive, jewelry to awaken the emotion of those who wear them.

Peridot

Peridot is one of the so-called "idiochromatic" gemstones; i.e. it's always found in nature with the same, single colour, unlike most gemstones which adopt different colours depending on secondary substances present in the mineral. Peridot is lemon green in colour. The ancient Egyptians called it the "gem of the sun" and mined it from the island of Zabargad in the Red Sea: in fact, it's said to be Cleopatra's favourite precious stone. Peridot's lively, fresh colour makes it the perfect gemstone for the jewellery in Roosik&Co.'s Blossom collection.

Rose Gold

This metal gets its characteristic pink tone from being an alloy between gold and a mixture of copper and silver. Rose gold can be redder when it has a larger proportion of copper and whiter or paler in tone by increasing the proportion of silver. Rose gold is sometimes combined with yellow gold and white gold but it's also worked on its own as it conveys a gentler character than yellow gold to the pieces, giving them a more classic but modern style. Jordi Rosich makes some engagement rings in rose gold, using a singular design that stands out from more traditional pieces.
