Engagement rings, art and Vitruvik Ring
Why is this engagement ring so personal and special?
Jordi Rosich, great lover of the perfection of geometrical forms and minimalism, finds in the Vitruvius Man his source of inspiration for the new Vitruvik ring. Vitruvik is the most special and personal engagement ring of Roosik&Co.
As you know, Vitruvius man is a drawing made by the Italian polymath Leonardo Da Vinci. It is based on the correlations of ideal human body proportions with geometry described by Vitruvius, an ancient Roman architect. Leonardo’s drawing is traditionally named in honor of the architect.
Symbolically, in the drawing, the circle represents “the sky” and the square means “the earth”. Spirit and matter works together in equilibrium.
In the Vitruvik ring, the circle of Da Vinci’s drawing is represented by a 7 side geometrical shape: an heptagon. The heptagon is Roosik&Co’s symbol. 7 are the ancient metals and also the colours of the rainbow. Number seven is a the number of magic, totality and perfection.
The result of Vitruvius inspiration is a perfect balanced piece of jewelry, full of strenght, magnetism and beauty.
